Courses & Seminars ETCI Role in Training ETCI Apprentice Awards Apprenticeship Training Meeting Facilities	Courses & Seminars ETCI Seminars Second Seminar on Explosion Safety in Hazardous Areas was held in February 2003 in response to the many requests from industry to develop a more detailed seminar on Directive 1999/92/EC for worker safety, commonly known as the ATEX 137 Directive. The ATEX 137 Directive on the protection of worker's potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres specifies the minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres and imposes stringent requirements on site operators and employers.
