Training Course on the Basic Principles of Electrical Safety

This two-hour course is aimed at persons concerned with electrical safety and is intended to improve awareness of electrical hazards and reduce the risk of people being injured by electricity. The basic principles of electricity are explained, as are the risks and precautions needed to minimise these risks. The course is available either on-site or at a location organised by ETCI. The ETCI publication, Guide to Basic Principles of Electrical Safety, is prerequisite reading for the course.

ETCI is offering the following options for this course:

Option 1: On-site in offices of organisation requesting course.
Course duration: 2½ hours.
Seminar Fees: €100 per participant.
Minimum Number Attending: 15
Maximum Number: 20 (Discount for 20: 10%)
Price includes the following to each attendee: ET213 publication, printout of courses slides.

Option 2: Off-site (Convenient venue to be arranged by ETCI)
Course duration: 2½ hours.
Seminar Fees: €125
Minimum Number Attending: 15
Maximum Number: 20 (Discount for 20: 10%)
Price includes the following to each attendee: Tea/Coffee & biscuits, ET213 publication, printout of course slides.

Option 3: (Excludes ETCI Presenter)
ET213. Course prerequisite reading material (€16/participant)
ETCI licence: €2,000
This option assumes that the requesting organisation will arrange a competent person to deliver the course. This presenter will be guided by Presenter’s Notes as part of the PowerPoint presentation. This licence entitles the requesting organisation to retain and use the PowerPoint presentation on the assurance that each person attending all future courses run by the requesting organisation will be provided with the ET213 publication which are available from ETCI at a cost of €16/copy. The licence will also entitle the requesting organisation to any future update to the ET213 PowerPoint presentation to be provided by ETCI free of charge.

ETCI receives requests from individuals to undergo the Course on Basic Principles of Electrical Safety. ETCI will offer to retain individuals' contact details so that they can be informed of upcoming courses which are organised by ETCI from time to time.
